Has abortion claimed another victim?

Only Margot Kidder has the answer

Last week the Park County, Montana coroner ruled the death of film star Margaret Ruth “Margot” Kidder on May 13, 2018 as a suicide by drug and alcohol overdose. Miss Kidder became famous for her portrayal of Lois Lane in the film version of “Superman” and Kathy Lutz in “The Amityville Horror.”

Born on October 17, 1948 in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada; Miss Kidder was a naturalized US citizen and Democratic Party activist. She also supported abortion and environmental causes. She started her acting career in Canada and then moved to the USA.

Margot Kidder described the effects of her abortion:

“She remembers saying, “I want my baby back”; she remembers the “horrible, horrible nightmares” after the abortion. “They were constant and went on for a long time – images of children running at me with slashed wrists, of dead babies… The nightmares stopped when I had my child.”

Miss Kidder had a history of bipolar disorder and repeated nervous breakdowns.
Despite her illness, she worked as an actress for many years before her death in Montana.

David Reardon, PhD, founder of the Elliot Institute and author of “Aborted Women, Silent No More,” has studied the effects of abortion for many years. He says that mothers who carry their children to term have a lower rate of suicide than women who don’t. He also says the suicide/abortion link is well known to the mental health community.

Dr. Reardon also says that abortion increases the likelihood of suicide by 154%. He found that 50% of post-abortive mothers had suicidal thoughts. It is as if the mothers feel that they have committed an unforgivable sin, which is not true.

Unfortunately for women, there is a persistent denial of the truth that abortion greatly harms women in the medical community. Denying the truth that abortion kills children and permanently maims their mothers both mentally and sometimes physically does not help women or the rest of society.

The Catechism of the Council of Trent teaches that sin causes a scar on the soul that only penance can erase. Abortion is a mortal sin against the 5th of the Ten Commandments. When we break the 5th Commandment, which is “Thou shalt not kill,” it causes us and those around us terrible harm.

To repair this harm, we must pray the rosary, fast, and do other penances to make up to God for what we have done. Only in that manner can we find peace.

Tommy Robinson Freed Today!

International prayers and efforts free political prisoner Tommy Robinson

by Christine Ross

LONDON, ENGLAND – Today Tommy Robinson won his freedom after his Court of Appeal victory, and has gone home to his family. He will have to attend another court case in Leeds shortly.

Ever since the signing of the Magna Carta in 1215, the concept of free speech has been developed and cherished by those in England and later in the USA. As pro-lifers, we depend on free speech to help parents decide for life and to persuade abortionists to stop murdering patients.

Thus, when we see a journalist and social activist like Tommy Robinson jailed merely for exercising the right to freedom of speech, we must step forward and protest loudly. Even President Trump’s Ambassador for Religious Freedom, Sam Brownback, lobbied for Tommy’s release in London.

Police arrested Tommy Robinson on May 25, 2018 for reporting on a Leeds court case  . His friend and colleague Ezra Levant raised money for his legal defense fund, and reported in London on the case. You can see his coverage here.

Robinson’s attorney Carson Kaye said in his statement that: “The rule of law and the right to a fair hearing are fundamental to every individual and this ruling an example of the procedural safeguards of our system, and its potential for protecting every citizen equally.

Since the decriminalization of abortion in the West, the rule of law has collapsed. Parents and abortionists can murder their children without even a fair hearing for the child. If an innocent child has no rights, then what about the rest of us? Is it any wonder that Tommy Robinson has languished in jail while the child rapists he discussed in his videos go free?

St. Ambrose taught that we must work as if everything counted on our work, and pray as if everything counted on our prayers.  That is why we must continue to pray and work for the end of abortion, and that the rule of law will be re-established throughout the West.

Pray the rosary every day for your country, that God will end abortion and deliver us from the tyrannies that threaten us.

Why you should pray for Tommy Robinson

Because someday, his story could be your story

Years ago, the late Fr. Benedict Groeschel spoke at a conference in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He said that he could remember when abortion was a crime. Now it’s a crime to complain about it, he added.

In England, rape and child rape used to be considered crimes. Recently English patriotic activist Tommy Robinson discovered it’s now a “crime” to complain about it.

While live streaming a broadcast outside an English court on May 25, 2018, the police arrested Tommy Robinson, brought him immediately before a judge, and whisked him off to jail. As Attorney Will Chamberlain says in this video, what happened to Tommy could not happen in the USA. At least, not yet.

Ezra Levant of Rebel Media reported on what’s happening in Tommy Robinson’s case yesterday. You can watch his coverage and his interviews with concerned English patriots here

Levant was cautiously optimistic that the judgements against Tommy will be quashed and that he will soon be free. Let us pray the rosary that will happen.

Traditionally the home of free speech, now England has become the home of people afraid to speak up in defense of Tommy Robinson for fear that they will join him in prison. Apparently, the English have taken to wearing “Make Britain Great Again” caps. And their leftist counterparts attack those who wear them.

During World War II, many people prayed the rosary for peace and that the war would come to an end. God heard their prayers, and the war ended in 1945.

After the War, the Communists invaded Austria and enslaved that nation. A patriotic monk encouraged Austrians to pray the rosary by themselves and in processions for the deliverance of their nation from Communism. The Communists left Austria on May 13, 1955.

Similar events took place in Brazil in the 1960s and the Phillipines in the 1980s.

Praying the rosary has proven to be a powerful method of bringing peace and sanctifying one’s soul. Let us pray the rosary for Tommy Robinson, and for the deliverance of the tyrannies that threaten us.

Is Civil War Coming to the United States?

The answer may surprise you.

On TV, the internet, and in print, the conservative and leftist newsmedia has openly worried that a civil war is brewing. Like last November, people were predicting the outbreak of a civil war in the USA this past July 4. The newsmedia has noted increasing violence, hostility, and friction between conservatives and now open socialists.

But is a civil war coming?

Or has it already started? And more importantly, what can we do about it?

For 45 years, we have pretended that decapitating and dismembering little children by abortion is legal because the Supreme Court says so. And we have hoped and prayed and hoped that appointing Supreme Court justices would stop the carnage.

It is the legislature, and not the Supreme Court, that enacts law in our legal system. The President is supposed to uphold the US Constitution, and not plainly unconstitutional decisions like Roe v. Wade.

This civil war between parents, abortionists, and the rest of society shows no sign of stopping.

While it is possible that appointing a new Supreme Court Justice may change things, that doesn’t seem likely. As the late Professor Charles Rice of the University of Notre Dame noted many years ago, if a Judge admitted that the preterm baby is a person, he would be forced to also admit that he as a judge has been participating in murder by his failure to stop it.

Yesterday Alex Jones said on his website infowars.com that having failed to stop and impeach President Trump, the Left is now pushing for a civil war. They want to stop the success that we are enjoying due to President Trump’s good efforts.

Now that it appears that the civil war inside abortion mills may spill out into the streets, what can we do to stop it?

Despite his many achievements, Americans are still upset by the continual negative news from the mainstream media. On September 9, 2001, many Americans were in anguish and were distraught over the tragedies of that dark day in New York City.

As one man pointed out then, watching TV upset people. So don’t watch TV – pray the rosary for the United States instead.

Remember, the TV people want you to be upset.

They want a civil war. Don’t give it to them.

The Catholic Church teaches us that wars and tyrannies are punishments and sin.
Can prayer and penance stop them? You bet they can!

It is comforting to know that someone, somewhere is praying for you. Did you know that people around the world prayed for the last US election? Worldnetdaily.com reported it on wnd.com. International prayers were heard, and Donald Trump is now our President. He has proven himself to be an even greater and more effective President than Ronald Reagan.

During World War II, people prayed the rosary for the end of the war. And thus the war was ended in 1945.

Following WWII, the Communists invaded Austria, which had been disarmed by Adolf Hitler. They had no way to defend themselves from the Communist enslavement that followed.

A monk persuaded the Austrians to pray the rosary in solitary and in processions for the deliverance of their nation from Communism.

On May 13, 1955, the Russians left Austria. Since that time, praying the rosary has stopped Communist takeovers in Brazil and the Phillipines.

Why pray the rosary?

On the Cross, Jesus Christ said to St. John the Evangelist, behold thy mother. In this manner, the Blessed Virgin Mary became the Mother of all the true followers of Jesus Christ.

Of all the people in the world, the Blessed Virgin Mary is closest to Jesus, not only physically, but spiritually. Just as a good earthly son is pleased by the attention shown to his mother, thus the Son of God is pleased by the attention shown to His mother.

St. Francis de Sales says that the rosary is the most perfect form of prayer. Just as the Saint said it every day, we also ought to pray it, not only for ourselves, but for our nation and our President, Donald Trump. See:

http://www.olrl.org/pray/howprayRosary1.shtml

In addition, it’s important to read good spiritual books every day, like those by St. Alphonsus di Liguori and Thomas a Kempis (The Imitation of Christ). St. Augustine said that our hearts are not at rest until they find their rest in Jesus Christ. We ought to read about the Passion of Christ every day to draw closer to Him and to become more like Him. See:

The Fifteen Promises of Mary to
Christians Who Recite the Rosary

  1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall receive signal graces.
  2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.
  3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.
  4. It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
  5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.
  6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just he shall remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of eternal life.
  7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.
  8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plentitude of His graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the merits of the saints in paradise.
  9. I shall deliver from purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.
  10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in heaven.
  11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.
  12. All those who propagate the holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.
  13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death.
  14. All who recite the Rosary are my sons, and brothers of my only Son Jesus Christ.
  15. Devotion of my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

(Given to St. Dominic and Blessed Alan)

Can Prayer Stop Volcanoes?

Saint Alphonsus and the Volcano

“Otherwise believe for the very works’ sake. Amen, amen I say to you, he that believeth in me, the works that I do, he also shall do; and greater than these shall he do.” John 14: 12

In 1779, Saint Alphonsus proved the Gospel right with 3 words and the Sign of the Cross. While visiting Naples in 1779, Saint Alphonsus  was asked to bless Mt. Vesuvius, which was about to erupt. As history teaches, the Saint said the Holy Name of Jesus 3 times, made the Sign of the Cross as a blessing, and the volcano promptly stopped.

A child prodigy, the great Saint Alphonsus Maria di Liguori (Sept. 27, 1696 – Aug. 01, 1787),   entered university at the age of 12 and completed double doctorates in canon and civil law at the age of 16. He entered the Italian Bar at the age of 19. After losing only one case in his entire career, the Saint abandoned the world, his wealthy inheritance, his title as a noble, became a priest, and founded 3 religious orders.

Having stopped Mt. Vesuvius from erupting with his prayers, what does Saint Alphonsus have to say about natural calamities like those in modern Hawaii and Guatemala? St. Thomas Aquinas teaches us that even the elements are offended by our sins, and would turn and attack us if Almighty God did not restrain them.

When we offend God, He no longer restrains the elements.

St. Vincent Ferrer says that the fires of earth are cold compared to the fires of Hell. Think of that the next time you read that the current temperature of the volcano in Hawaii is now over 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit.

Like a loving earthly father, God uses natural calamities to punish us and stop us from committing more sins that will send us to Hell. These calamities help us to recognize our faults, and to correct them. After the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant disaster in 2011, the Prime Minister of Japan publicly acknowledged “We are being punished for our sins.”

There used to be a saying that “crime does not pay.” It would seem we are now paying for our crimes. The BBC reported that in 2017, the United States paid the highest sums in its history for the natural calamities visited upon it by the wrath of God.

There is no such thing as Mother Nature, and news commentators do the public a grave disservice by pretending that it exists. It is God who creates nature, and not fictional entities known as “Mother Nature.”

The Catholic Church teaches us that there are 4 abominations. An abomination is a type of sin that draws down the wrath of God.

These sins are:

  • willful murder (abortion and euthanasia are willful murder)
  • the Sin of Sodom
  • oppression of the poor (persecuting the homeless and those who help them)
  • depriving workers of just wages

We have now slaughtered 50 times the number of all American casualties in foreign and domestic wars. We have slaughtered a population greater than that of Canada and almost as much as the United Kingdom.

In addition. rather than condemning what God and our own nature teaches, we have pretended that 2 human creatures of the same sex can marry when obviously they cannot. This has invited the wrath of God and a host of other societal ills.

Since there seem to be no preachers who will condemn these sins, is it any wonder that God has enlisted the services of earth, wind, air, and fire to correct us? We ought to pay attention and mend our ways when we see Puerto Rico and parts of Texas and Hawaii destroyed by natural calamities.

You may wonder: why doesn’t God punish all of our sins in this life? If He did, the Catholic Church teaches, we would doubt the existence of a future life.

Is there a volcano, that is, a difficult situation, in your life? One of the most powerful methods of prayer is the rosary. For example, the USSR took over Austria in 1947, making it into one big concentration camp. The unarmed Austrians drove the Communists out of their country without firing a shot.

How did they do that? By praying the rosary in solitary and processions for the deliverance of their country from Communism.
On May 13, 1955, the Communists packed up and left Austria.

St. Francis of Assisi said that if you wish to sanctify society, you must first sanctify yourself. When you break a window, you must pay for it. Or at least repair it.

This reparation is known as penance, and we all ought to do it if we wish these calamities to stop. Even the pagans recognized that God displays his wrath through the elements, and we ought to appease Him rather than continue to offend Him.

Thus, we ought to pray the rosary for our nation that God will save it.

Children of rapists

Today I interviewed Rebecca Kiessling and we discussed her unusual life. She was adopted as a baby girl. When she was 18, she discovered that her mother had been raped by her father, a serial rapist. Not only that, but her mother had been to 2 abortionists to try and kill her.

Rebecca met her birth mother when she was 19, and her mother said that she would have killed Rebecca had abortion been legal at the time of Rebecca’s birth. Despite this tragedy, Rebecca went on to be a wife, mother, attorney, and international pro-life speaker.

She defends the unborn and in particular those who are victimized by
the “rape exception” debate. It’s horrible to think that some people erroneously believe that killing innocent babies is okay if their father happens to be a criminal.

Children should never be punished for the crimes of their parents. We wouldn’t allow a dog to be beheaded and torn limb from limb like a human baby. Yet it happens every day in the USA.

Not only that, but the children of rapists are “thrown under the bus” as Rebecca put it by those who compromise with the evil of abortion. Rebecca said that when she was interviewed by Sean Hannity, he described people like her as “the demon seed.”

If we allow the rape exception to persist in law, then what, Rebecca pointed out, is to prevent an expectant mother to demand an abortion on the basis that she has been raped? In many states, feticide, or the murder of a preterm baby, is now a crime. Yet the moral schizophrenia of the law allows mothers to kill their own children through abortion.

In seeking justice for children, we must not compromise and allow the children of rapists to be summarily executed merely for having a criminal father. The 5th Amendment to the Bill of Rights states that no person shall be deprived of his life without due process of law.
The widespread practice of sharing ultrasounds of preterm babies has demonstrated that the fetus is a person who deserves to live and to be treated with love, compassion, and respect as even Our Savior Jesus Christ showed us the same love by dying for us on the Cross.
