A Visit to An Abortion Mill

An ambulance leaves the Planned Parenthood Abortion Mill in Virginia Beach, Virginia on April 2, 2017

by Christine Ross

Last week I went to the Planned Parenthood abortion mill in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Two police cars with 4 police officers were waiting; I’ve never seen so many. Apparently, the Planned Parenthood staff called them for some unknown reason.

Years ago, the lady who taught me sidewalk counseling urged me to say “Please don’t kill your baby.” I added “You’ll regret it for the rest of your life.”

While the police were in the parking lot, I said that as loudly as I could to the mothers entering the abortion mill. In addition, I quoted Dudley Nichols’ screenplay for the 1946 film Scarlet Street: “You can’t solve your problems with murder…Murder doesn’t solve anything.”

The police responded by leaving immediately. Most of them are pro-life. It was so weird to watch parents calmly walking into the building to kill their children while the police took off.

The police came back a few minutes later. We still don’t know why.

In the meantime, a new guy came out to preach at the mothers with a loudspeaker. He wasn’t part of the usual group, and I gather he was unaware that speaking above 55 decibels is against the law.

When they returned, a police officer asked him politely to quiet down. The officer went away for awhile, and returned. The speaker ignored their request and kept up the volume.

The officer returned and pleaded with him to quiet down. To his credit, the officer looked visibly embarrassed by having to tell a street preacher to speak more softly. After a few minutes, the preacher left.

Several years ago, I attended a local women’s show. The Virginia Beach Fire Department had a booth with a lady firefighter. During our chat, I invited the firefighter to join us in our outreach to parents at Planned Parenthood.

She declined. However, she said that the Virginia Beach Fire Department had been to the Planned Parenthood abortion mill several times to help mothers who had survived botched abortions.

As challenging as it can be to visit abortion mills, it’s important to go. Years ago, I read an account of a mother who killed her child. On her way to the abortion mill, no pro-lifers were there. She wondered to herself “Where are those pro-lifers when you need them?”

That is why we must pray the rosary every day that God will save our country from abortion and the tyrannies that threaten it.

After Alex Jones’ deplatforming, where is the pro-life movement headed?

Will pro-lifers be next?

by Christine Ross

From time to time, Alex Jones, podcaster, writer, and creator of Infowars.com has participated in pro-life activity. He also reports on it.

Alex Jones’ story is a cautionary tale of why we must pray the rosary every day that God will deliver us from the tyrannies that are destroying our freedoms. We cannot allow these attacks on our God-given right to freedom of speech to continue.

Several years ago, I went to a local abortion mill. A French lady living in the USA came with me.

While I was horrified by watching my countrymen saunter in to murder their children, she had a different view. In France, she said, you can’t visit an abortion mill to help parents. You can’t even talk about abortion because complaining about abortion is now a crime in France. In that sense, it was a comfort to her to be able to visit abortion mills to offer help and hope to parents.

That’s why the social media giants’ attack on Alex Jones is important to pro-lifers and writers everywhere. Working together, they have kicked Jones off Facebook, Youtube, Linkedin, Pinterest, and a host of other social media platforms.

Yesterday Jones’ website Infowars.com came under a sustained Denial of Service attack. Jones has stated that he believes he is a test case, and others have been kicked off since then. In his latest statement, Alex Jones has repeated his concerns that having moved to China, Google is now creating Chinese-style censorship in the USA.

The curious thing about this phenomenon is that none of the tech giants will explain why they did so. There is a general accusation that Jones is guilty of “hate speech.” To paraphrase the late Joe Sobran, “hate speech” can be defined as any speech that the Left hates.

Over the years, I’ve watched as alternative health practitioners mysteriously died. It always came out later that they were assassinated.

So I wondered why Jones has not suffered the same fate. Big tech’s public silencing of Jones’ dissent is message to writers and pro-lifers everywhere that speech they hate will not be tolerated.

For its part, the Democratic Party has endorsed the banning of certain opinions and has twisted the concept of free speech. It now says that only the views accepted by the government are free speech.

Where does that leave pro-lifers? In the USA, there is already an anti-free speech “bubble zone” that prevents sidewalk counselors from approaching parents close to the doors of abortion mills. President Clinton enacted “Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act” in 1994, which limits the freedom of speech of pro-life activists.

The FACE act has resulted in bizarre scenes across the USA. E.g. a couple weeks ago, I was at Planned Parenthood talking to mothers. One of the abortionists called the police due to the display of a pro-life banner. Instead of jailing the abortionists, police harass pro-lifers who are trying to talk expectant mothers and fathers out of killing their children.

Is the government making a bubble zone around social media and free speech?

It sure seems that way. Abortion is the number one cause of death in the USA because of the media blackout on it. Abortion takes more lives than cancer and heart disease combined. Yet that is never stated in the media, which continues to lie and say that heart disease is the number onc cause of death when that just isn’t true.

Alex Jones is a courageous man and has stood up for unpopular truths. He also uses bad language, which is unprofessional, and continues to support President Trump when Trump obviously does not support him.

As Ezra Levant from therebel.media said recently:

“If Trump doesn’t bust up big tech monopolies, they’ll bust him up.”

In an interview, Paul Craig Roberts said that the  social media giants are in violation of the Sherman Anti-Trust Act. He also said they should be in jail.

We must pray the rosary every day for our country that God will deliver us from the tyrannies that threaten us. These attacks on free speech cannot and must not be allowed to continue.

Has abortion claimed another victim?

Only Margot Kidder has the answer

Last week the Park County, Montana coroner ruled the death of film star Margaret Ruth “Margot” Kidder on May 13, 2018 as a suicide by drug and alcohol overdose. Miss Kidder became famous for her portrayal of Lois Lane in the film version of “Superman” and Kathy Lutz in “The Amityville Horror.”

Born on October 17, 1948 in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada; Miss Kidder was a naturalized US citizen and Democratic Party activist. She also supported abortion and environmental causes. She started her acting career in Canada and then moved to the USA.

Margot Kidder described the effects of her abortion:

“She remembers saying, “I want my baby back”; she remembers the “horrible, horrible nightmares” after the abortion. “They were constant and went on for a long time – images of children running at me with slashed wrists, of dead babies… The nightmares stopped when I had my child.”

Miss Kidder had a history of bipolar disorder and repeated nervous breakdowns.
Despite her illness, she worked as an actress for many years before her death in Montana.

David Reardon, PhD, founder of the Elliot Institute and author of “Aborted Women, Silent No More,” has studied the effects of abortion for many years. He says that mothers who carry their children to term have a lower rate of suicide than women who don’t. He also says the suicide/abortion link is well known to the mental health community.

Dr. Reardon also says that abortion increases the likelihood of suicide by 154%. He found that 50% of post-abortive mothers had suicidal thoughts. It is as if the mothers feel that they have committed an unforgivable sin, which is not true.

Unfortunately for women, there is a persistent denial of the truth that abortion greatly harms women in the medical community. Denying the truth that abortion kills children and permanently maims their mothers both mentally and sometimes physically does not help women or the rest of society.

The Catechism of the Council of Trent teaches that sin causes a scar on the soul that only penance can erase. Abortion is a mortal sin against the 5th of the Ten Commandments. When we break the 5th Commandment, which is “Thou shalt not kill,” it causes us and those around us terrible harm.

To repair this harm, we must pray the rosary, fast, and do other penances to make up to God for what we have done. Only in that manner can we find peace.

Monica Miller talks about the Red Rose Rescue

Pro-life activist Monica Miller, PhD (third from left in the photo), was recently released from jail for participating in the Red Rose Rescue, a new method of rescuing preterm babies. Mary Wagner of Toronto, Canada inspired American pro-lifers to enter an abortion mill and offer red roses to mothers in the waiting room.

Police arrested Monica Migliorino Miller, Will Goodman, Matthew Connolly, Patrice Woodworth and Robert “Doc” Kovaly after they refused to leave the abortion mill on December 2, 2017. Dr. Miller described her court case and subsequent efforts to help mothers at an abortion mill in Michigan.

Pro-Life Victory in Albany, New York – Free Speech Upheld

Roger Gannam of Liberty Counsel Explains

by Christine Ross

“If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.” ~ General George Washington’s address to the Army, March 15, 1783

Recently, Judge Carol Carol Bagley Amon ruled in favor of 13 pro-life activists who counseled expectant mothers and preached at the Choices Women’s Medical Center, an abortion mill in Jamaica, NY. Judge Amon heard the case in Albany, NY after then-Attorney General Eric Scheiderman filed suit against them last year. Attorney Roger Gannam from Liberty Counsel talked about this case on today’s podcast.

We often take our freedoms for granted until they are taken away from us. There is an old saying that “The price of liberty is eternal vigilance.” Thank goodness for the vigilance of law practices like Liberty Counsel, the Thomas More Law Society, and Thomas More Legal Center and others who help pro-life activists.

Otherwise, we might end up like Canada, England, and Europe, where it is difficult, if not impossible, to offer help and hope to unwed mothers at abortion mills. A Canadian pro-lifer once told me you can’t even wear a pro-life badge or pin if you walk down the same street as an abortion mill in Toronto, Canada.

Therefore, we must continue to fight for the right to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, namely unborn children. Even though it can be tough and it requires personal sacrifice, we must continue to fight for the right to life of all persons, both born and unborn.

After we talked about the case, Roger and I talked about sidewalk counseling and my volunteer efforts outside of the Planned Parenthood abortion mill here in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Roger mentioned the case of a child who was saved when a pro-life activist reminded the expectant mother that her child had ten fingers and ten toes just like her. Those words haunted the mother as she went into the abortion mill, causing her to change her mind. Eventually she returned and let the sidewalk counselors know their efforts had saved her baby’s life.

Towards the end of the podcast, I asked Roger what we pro-life activists could do to avoid prosecution for trying to help expectant mothers. Of course, we need to be civil and polite.

But we also need to video record a general view of what’s going on, and not aim the camera at any one person to avoid false accusations of harassment. If it comes to going to court, the recording will back us up in court, he said.

The most important thing is to pray the rosary every day for our salvation, for our nation, President Trump, and for the end of abortion. Before we go to abortion mills, we need to pray that God will touch the hearts of all involved, and grant us peace, and bring an end to the civil war of abortion.

Why you should pray for Tommy Robinson

Because someday, his story could be your story

Years ago, the late Fr. Benedict Groeschel spoke at a conference in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He said that he could remember when abortion was a crime. Now it’s a crime to complain about it, he added.

In England, rape and child rape used to be considered crimes. Recently English patriotic activist Tommy Robinson discovered it’s now a “crime” to complain about it.

While live streaming a broadcast outside an English court on May 25, 2018, the police arrested Tommy Robinson, brought him immediately before a judge, and whisked him off to jail. As Attorney Will Chamberlain says in this video, what happened to Tommy could not happen in the USA. At least, not yet.

Ezra Levant of Rebel Media reported on what’s happening in Tommy Robinson’s case yesterday. You can watch his coverage and his interviews with concerned English patriots here

Levant was cautiously optimistic that the judgements against Tommy will be quashed and that he will soon be free. Let us pray the rosary that will happen.

Traditionally the home of free speech, now England has become the home of people afraid to speak up in defense of Tommy Robinson for fear that they will join him in prison. Apparently, the English have taken to wearing “Make Britain Great Again” caps. And their leftist counterparts attack those who wear them.

During World War II, many people prayed the rosary for peace and that the war would come to an end. God heard their prayers, and the war ended in 1945.

After the War, the Communists invaded Austria and enslaved that nation. A patriotic monk encouraged Austrians to pray the rosary by themselves and in processions for the deliverance of their nation from Communism. The Communists left Austria on May 13, 1955.

Similar events took place in Brazil in the 1960s and the Phillipines in the 1980s.

Praying the rosary has proven to be a powerful method of bringing peace and sanctifying one’s soul. Let us pray the rosary for Tommy Robinson, and for the deliverance of the tyrannies that threaten us.

July 2018 Face the Truth Tour in Chicago, Illinois

Matt Yonke from the Pro-Life Action League of Chicago, Illinois spoke on today’s program. Matt described last week’s Face the Truth Tour in the Chicagoland, Illinois area. He said these pictures are designed to show the humanity of the victims of abortion.

For several years, the Pro-Life Action League has shown pictures of aborted babies in public in Chicago. As with other social movements, the pro-life movement shows pictures to demonstrate the reality of abortion and how it affects children.

Did you know that drawn pictures of shackles and other aspects of slavery helped end it? Many social movements use pictures as a way to help others see what they don’t want to see.

Matt talked about how these photos have saved lives and helped move parents to repent of their crimes against their children. The Catechism of the Council of Trent teaches us that sin leaves a scar on our souls that only penance can erase.

That’s why when we do bad things, our conscience tells us we must make it up to God. Praying the rosary is a great way to do that, and will give us peace of mind and help us to draw closer to God. That’s why we should pray the rosary every day in penance and that God will help end abortion.

Even though sometimes pictures of aborted children upset people, it’s important to talk about abortion because the media and pulpits won’t. We can’t solve our problems without discussing them, and showing pictures of aborted children helps start conversations that need to happen.

Matt mentioned a visit to Belgium, a formerly Christian nation that no longer sees abortion as a sin. Perhaps if they were able to have a Face the Truth Tour, they might return to their former views on abortion.

Can Prayer Stop Volcanoes?

Saint Alphonsus and the Volcano

“Otherwise believe for the very works’ sake. Amen, amen I say to you, he that believeth in me, the works that I do, he also shall do; and greater than these shall he do.” John 14: 12

In 1779, Saint Alphonsus proved the Gospel right with 3 words and the Sign of the Cross. While visiting Naples in 1779, Saint Alphonsus  was asked to bless Mt. Vesuvius, which was about to erupt. As history teaches, the Saint said the Holy Name of Jesus 3 times, made the Sign of the Cross as a blessing, and the volcano promptly stopped.

A child prodigy, the great Saint Alphonsus Maria di Liguori (Sept. 27, 1696 – Aug. 01, 1787),   entered university at the age of 12 and completed double doctorates in canon and civil law at the age of 16. He entered the Italian Bar at the age of 19. After losing only one case in his entire career, the Saint abandoned the world, his wealthy inheritance, his title as a noble, became a priest, and founded 3 religious orders.

Having stopped Mt. Vesuvius from erupting with his prayers, what does Saint Alphonsus have to say about natural calamities like those in modern Hawaii and Guatemala? St. Thomas Aquinas teaches us that even the elements are offended by our sins, and would turn and attack us if Almighty God did not restrain them.

When we offend God, He no longer restrains the elements.

St. Vincent Ferrer says that the fires of earth are cold compared to the fires of Hell. Think of that the next time you read that the current temperature of the volcano in Hawaii is now over 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit.

Like a loving earthly father, God uses natural calamities to punish us and stop us from committing more sins that will send us to Hell. These calamities help us to recognize our faults, and to correct them. After the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant disaster in 2011, the Prime Minister of Japan publicly acknowledged “We are being punished for our sins.”

There used to be a saying that “crime does not pay.” It would seem we are now paying for our crimes. The BBC reported that in 2017, the United States paid the highest sums in its history for the natural calamities visited upon it by the wrath of God.

There is no such thing as Mother Nature, and news commentators do the public a grave disservice by pretending that it exists. It is God who creates nature, and not fictional entities known as “Mother Nature.”

The Catholic Church teaches us that there are 4 abominations. An abomination is a type of sin that draws down the wrath of God.

These sins are:

  • willful murder (abortion and euthanasia are willful murder)
  • the Sin of Sodom
  • oppression of the poor (persecuting the homeless and those who help them)
  • depriving workers of just wages

We have now slaughtered 50 times the number of all American casualties in foreign and domestic wars. We have slaughtered a population greater than that of Canada and almost as much as the United Kingdom.

In addition. rather than condemning what God and our own nature teaches, we have pretended that 2 human creatures of the same sex can marry when obviously they cannot. This has invited the wrath of God and a host of other societal ills.

Since there seem to be no preachers who will condemn these sins, is it any wonder that God has enlisted the services of earth, wind, air, and fire to correct us? We ought to pay attention and mend our ways when we see Puerto Rico and parts of Texas and Hawaii destroyed by natural calamities.

You may wonder: why doesn’t God punish all of our sins in this life? If He did, the Catholic Church teaches, we would doubt the existence of a future life.

Is there a volcano, that is, a difficult situation, in your life? One of the most powerful methods of prayer is the rosary. For example, the USSR took over Austria in 1947, making it into one big concentration camp. The unarmed Austrians drove the Communists out of their country without firing a shot.

How did they do that? By praying the rosary in solitary and processions for the deliverance of their country from Communism.
On May 13, 1955, the Communists packed up and left Austria.

St. Francis of Assisi said that if you wish to sanctify society, you must first sanctify yourself. When you break a window, you must pay for it. Or at least repair it.

This reparation is known as penance, and we all ought to do it if we wish these calamities to stop. Even the pagans recognized that God displays his wrath through the elements, and we ought to appease Him rather than continue to offend Him.

Thus, we ought to pray the rosary for our nation that God will save it.
